Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Quality Assistant to join a busy, well-organised, fast-paced global manufacturer. Job Overview This role plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products remains at the highest standards. Reporting to the Quality Manager this role plays a vital part in guaranteeing the availability of trustworthy data through the correct development of quality control lab activities. In this entry-level position, you will perform routine quality testing of products and provide analytical data based on your findings. Whats on offer Starting salary of £29,925,19 Working Monday - Friday on a rotating shift pattern. Mornings 6:00am - 14:00pm & Afternoons 14:00pm - 22:00pm.  Private health care 23 days annual leave + 8 days bank holidays Free onsite car parking Discounted staff shop Employee assistance program MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare and carry out lab tests (raw materials and finished product) in accordance with the operational procedures  Maintain the laboratory inventory ensuring the cleanliness of the tools  Streamline the laboratory processes and maintaining lab cleanliness.
