What is on offer as a WCA Doctor Assessor? Excellent starting salary at £72,000pa Monday to Friday working hours Full time and part time available (3, 4 or 5 days per week available) Wrexham based when working on-site 25 days annual leave 8 bank holidays Pension Package Hybrid/home working available GMC fees paid for and CPD revalidation support provided What does the WCA Doctor Assessor role involve? The Functional Assessor role will involve you carrying out 5 client assessments per day on behalf of clients seeking WCA (Work Capability Assessment).

A typical day will see you carry out telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to understand how a persons disability or health condition affects their ability to perform work-related activity.

Youll listen to their experiences, ask questions and use your insights to produce a factual report to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for benefits.

Thats the good news; the DWP make the final decision, you dont.

Your role is to gather information and produce the report.
