Job TitleChartered Building SurveyorJob Description SummaryJob DescriptionSurveyor / Senior Surveyor – Building ConsultancyLocation: Bristol (Hybrid)Service Line: Project & Development Services – Building ConsultancyWe are looking for a driven Surveyor or Senior Surveyor (MRICS) to join our growing Bristol Building Consultancy team at Cushman & Wakefield. This is an excellent opportunity to work across a strong regional client base spanning the South West and Wales, supporting a mix of investors, landlords, occupiers and developers.You’ll be involved in both professional and project-focused instructions, with real scope to take ownership of workstreams, build long-term client relationships, and contribute to the continued growth of our Bristol offering.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver a full range of Building Surveying services, including:Dilapidations (landlord & tenant)Technical Due Diligence (TDD)Contract Administration & Employer’s Agent dutiesPlanned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)Reinstatement Cost Assessments (RCA)Schedules of ConditionBuilding pathology and defect diagnosisAdditional responsibilities include:Acting as a key point of contact for regional clientsSupporting and mentoring junior members of the teamWorking collaboratively across the wider Project & Development Services groupAssisting with business development, client retention and bid activityContributing to projects across the South West, Wales and wider UK when requiredSkills & ExperienceMRICS-qualified with relevant Building Surveying experience (1–5 years PQE ideal)Strong track record in delivering core professional instructionsExperience in project delivery (CAT A/B refurbishments, maintenance works, minor works)Confident communicator with strong report writing skillsCommercially aware, organised and proactiveAbility to work independently while contributing to a supportive team cultureExperience with regional investor, developer or occupier clients is an advantageWhy Join Us?Be part of a highly regarded regional team with a strong pipeline of workHybrid working with flexibility around home, office and siteExcellent exposure to a diverse range of properties across Bristol, Bath, Cardiff and the wider regionClear progression pathway — opportunities to develop into Associate levelCompetitive salary, bonus scheme and full benefits packageCollaborative, people-first culture backed by a global consultancy platformCushman & Wakefield is an equal opportunity / affirmative action employer.
