Planning Manager
Brookbanks operates nationwide, providing integrated and holistic consultancy services for major infrastructure and development schemes. We have a reputation for designing and delivering complex mixed-use, major residential, and commercial build projects ranging from £5m to £500m.

As Planning Manager you'll be responsible for:
- Managing a varied portfolio of planning projects, providing strategic advice across residential, commercial, mixed-use, and infrastructure developments.
- Leading the preparation, submission, and negotiation of planning applications and supporting documentation.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, local authorities, and other key stakeholders.
- Providing planning input throughout the development lifecycle, identifying risks, opportunities, and solutions to support project delivery.
- Supporting business development activities, including client relationship management, networking, and proposal preparation.
- Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions for clients.
- Mentoring and supporting junior team members, contributing to the growth and success of the Planning team.
- Keeping up to date with planning policy, legislation, and industry developments to provide informed and commercially focused advice.

What we're looking for:
✓ MRTPI qualified, or actively working towards chartership with the ambition to achieve this during 2026.
✓ Previous experience within a private sector consultancy, developer, housebuilder, or client-side environment.
✓ Strong knowledge of the UK planning system and experience managing planning applications.
✓ Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and client-facing skills.
✓ Commercially aware, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
