An established national residential housebuilder is looking to appoint an experienced Materials Controller / Site Logistics Coordinator to join a busy residential development in the Hampshire area.

This is a site-based position that would particularly suit someone with a strong understanding of construction materials, ideally gained through previous experience as a Site Manager, Assistant Site Manager, Site Supervisor or Materials Controller within residential housebuilding.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating materials arriving on site, ensuring deliveries are managed efficiently and that materials meet the required standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and coordinating building material deliveries to site.
• Liaising with delivery drivers, suppliers and site management teams.
• Checking incoming materials for quality, quantity and damage.
• Ensuring correct materials are received and any discrepancies are reported.
• Coordinating deliveries to minimise disruption to ongoing construction activities.
• Maintaining an organised and efficient delivery process.
• Working closely with the Site Manager to ensure materials are available when required.
• Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the development.

About You:

• Strong knowledge of construction materials, particularly those used in residential housebuilding.
• Previous experience in site management, site supervision, materials control or construction logistics.
• Good understanding of how a residential construction site operates.
• Confident communicating with delivery drivers, suppliers and site teams.
• Organised, reliable and able to manage multiple deliveries throughout the day.
• Strong attention to detail when checking materials and identifying issues.
• Able to work independently and take responsibility for site deliveries.
