Learning Support Assistant (1:1 Support) Location: Southend-on-Sea, Essex ⏰ Hours: Full-Time / Part-Time Opportunities Available Pay: Competitive rates, dependent on experience 1:1 Learning Support Assistant Required Protocol Education is currently recruiting a caring and dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to provide 1:1 support for pupils within a welcoming and inclusive school in Southend-on-Sea. This rewarding role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning and thrive both academically and socially. The Role Providing dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil with additional learning needs. Assisting with classroom activities and lesson participation. Supporting the pupil's emotional, social, and academic development. Encouraging independence, confidence, and engagement in learning. Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to support progress. Promoting a safe, nurturing, and positive learning environment. Requirements Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable. Experience supporting pupils with SEND is advantageous. A patient, caring, and resilient approach. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
