The Role
Production Operative - Days
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am 3.30pm, Friday 6.30am 2pm
We are looking for a motivated and reliable machine operative to join our production team. Reporting to the shift leader, the role will work closely with other colleagues and team leaders to support the production process, ensuring machines are set correctly, products meet the quality standards and processes are completed safely and efficiently.
What Youll Do:
Set up and operate machinery in line with production requirements
Help drive continuous improvement, resolve minor issues, and maximise efficiency
Complete quality checks to ensure products meet required standards
Support daily production targets while minimising waste
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
Report faults, maintenance needs, or quality concerns promptly
Follow all health & safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company standards
What Were Looking For:
Experience as a machine operator desirable but not essential
A willingness to learn new skills and be flexible
Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
A positive and proactive attitude with good communication and problem-solving skills
A focus on quality, safety and continuous improvement
Pride in doing the job well and helping the team succeed
