Interim Finance Director – Luxury Hospitality • Central London • 6 Month FTC with permanent potential • Start: ASAP
An international hospitality group, renowned for managing and operating some of the world’s most prestigious luxury hotels is seeking an Interim Finance Director to lead its UK region. This is a high-profile, influential role at the heart of the business. You will be partnering closely with the UK Managing Director and group leadership to optimise performance, drive growth, and ensure world-class standards across the portfolio.
Responsibilities
As Interim Finance Director, you will own the financial strategy and operations for the UK hotels, ensuring each property performs and exceeds expectations. You will embed a culture of commercial excellence and robust control, safeguard assets, and enable data-driven decision-making that enhances profitability and enhances guest experience. This is both a strategic and hands-on role, where you will shape business plans, oversee major investments, and drive efficiencies across the portfolio. You will lead the monthly close and forecasting cycle, ensuring accurate reporting and insightful analysis for senior leadership. Alongside this, you will oversee cost structures, cash flow, and payroll, ensuring optimal productivity and compliance with best practice and legislation.
Beyond financial leadership, you will be an inspirational mentor, developing both finance and non-finance managers to strengthen commercial acumen across the business. You will foster an open, collaborative culture, embedding accountability and empowering teams to deliver exceptional results.
Qualifications
We are seeking an accomplished senior finance leader with significant experience in hospitality (ideally luxury hotels) or a related sector. You will bring a strong track record of success in Finance Director or senior leadership positions, with deep expertise in financial control, commercial strategy, and management accounting. The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with excellent communication skills, gravitas, and proven ability to influence at the highest level.
