About the role
Great opportunity to work as a Revenue and Support Specialist for our client, an industry-leading, customer-focused, long-distance train operator that customers trust to meet their needs.
Staffline is recruiting Revenue and Support Specialists in Plymouth.
The rate of pay is £37,444 per annum.
Applicants will be expected to work all days and times CrossCountry runs a service. This includes weekends and bank holidays.
This is a 9-month fixed contract, on day shifts, the start times varies from week to week, so you will need to be flexible.
Your Time at Work
As a Revenue and Support Specialist you will be responsible for:
- Ticket inspection, completion of travel irregularity reports, customer service and conflict management.
- Protect revenue and reduce fare evasion
- Ensure compliance with ticketing terms and railway byelaws
- Provide a visible presence to deter non-payment of fares
- Support operational resilience during disruption and special events
- undertake day-to-day line management including rostering, AL etc.
Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect worker will be physically fit, as the role is very active and demanding. You will need excellent customer service skills and must demonstrate relevant experience.
Applicants will have knowledge of rail ticketing rules.
You must have the right to work in the UK, pass a DBS clearance, and undergo a medical fitness test.
