Senior Payroll & Benefits Specialist

Salary: £60,000–£65,000

Location: London (1 month office-based initially, then 3 days office / 2 days home)

The Role

• Taking sole responsibility for the end-to-end UK & Ireland payroll and benefits function, processing payroll for approximately 400 employees, including a modified payroll for UK expatriates.
• Managing all payroll compliance, including HMRC, pensions, auto-enrolment, statutory reporting, P11Ds, payrolled benefits, audits, payroll journals and relationships with external payroll providers.
• Owning the administration and continuous improvement of the company's benefits offering, including pension schemes, benefit renewals, employee engagement, reporting and supporting wider reward initiatives.
• Acting as the payroll and benefits subject matter expert, partnering with HR, Finance and stakeholders across the business, resolving complex queries and delivering training, process documentation and business continuity planning.
• Leading process improvements, automation projects and payroll governance while supporting annual salary reviews, budgeting, international mobility reporting and wider payroll and benefits projects.
