CNC Turner Programmer / Setter / Operator

Mazco Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner to join a well-established precision engineering company based in Abingdon. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist looking for a permanent day shift role with a strong hourly rate and excellent work-life balance. The successful candidate will be confident programming, setting and operating CNC lathes using Fanuc controls, working on twin spindle, mill/turn and fixed head machines producing high-precision components for a variety of industries. The Role: * Programming, setting and operating CNC turning machines * Working with Fanuc controls * Machining complex precision components to tight tolerances * Operating twin spindle, mill/turn and fixed head machines * Editing programs and optimising cycle times * Conducting first-off and in-process inspection * Working from engineering drawings * Maintaining high quality and production standards Requirements: * Proven CNC turning experience * Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls * Experience with twin spindle and mill/turn machines * Ability to program online at the machine * Confident reading technical engineering drawings * Experience working to tight tolerances * Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail What’s On Offer: * Up to £30.00 per hour depending on experience * Permanent day shift * 4-day working week * Overtime opportunities * Modern machining environment * Long-term stability and progression opportunities If you are an experienced CNC Turner looking for your next opportunity, apply today or contact Mazco Recruitment for more information
