About The Role
We're looking for motivated, customer-focused individuals who enjoy helping people access homes and delivering excellent service. As a Lettings Officer , you'll be part of a regional lettings team delivering a high-quality, performance-driven empty homes and lettings service. You'll help minimise void loss and maximise income by ensuring properties are allocated and occupied as efficiently as possible.
You'll manage a varied workload, advertising and marketing homes, shortlisting applicants and coordinating the lettings process from start to finish. You'll work closely with housing, repairs and development teams to ensure homes are ready to let quickly and safely. You'll also support customers by providing advice on housing options, including Choice Based Lettings, and signpost to additional support where needed.
This role is based at Hastings and is offered on a Fixed Term Basis/Secondment until 17th of May 2027 . Hybrid working will be agreed with the Line Manager.

Experience of lettings, housing services or working with local authority waiting lists is beneficial but not essential. A CIH Level 3 qualification (or willingness to work towards one) is desirable .

About the team
You'll work as part of a dedicated lettings team within the regional housing service, supporting the delivery of an efficient and high-quality allocations process.
The team works closely with Housing, Repairs, Development and external partners to ensure homes are let quickly, customers are supported and services are delivered seamlessly.
