QLM Search is partnering with a major branded food group to appoint a Chief Commercial Officer.

Our client is embarking on an ambitious programme to accelerate growth, modernise commercial operations, and deliver a step change in market share.

The Role

The Chief Commercial Officer will lead the global commercial agenda, driving excellence across sales, marketing, category management, and revenue growth, while shaping a high-impact commercial strategy aligned to long-term value creation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Setting and executing a global commercial strategy that delivers profitable, sustainable growth.
  • Building commercial capability across regions and functions, fostering a data-driven, consumer-centric culture.
  • Optimising pricing, trade, and channel strategy to unlock new value opportunities.
  • Partnering with the CEO to ensure commercial performance supports strategic and financial ambitions.
  • Leading transformation initiatives that deliver both top-line acceleration and margin improvement.
  • Developing high-performing teams that operate with pace, accountability, and agility.

Key Requirements

We’re seeking a commercially astute and entrepreneurial leader, with a blend of strategic and operational excellence, who can thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

Ideal profile:

  • Extensive senior marketing, brand building experience in food or beverage manufacturing
  • A track record of delivering commercial transformation
  • Strong P&L ownership and financial acumen, able to drive growth while improving profitability and capital efficiency.
  • An authentic, energising leadership style that motivates teams and builds capability at scale.
