Junior Application Support Engineer TradingQuant Capital is urgently looking for an Application Support Engineer to join our high profile client.Our client is a well known global electronic trading business. They provide a market leading Execution Management System for buy and sell side clients as well as Algo Execution. They have offices globally (travel arranged for your benefit if wanted).The primary responsibility of the Application Support Specialist is to provide high level functional and technical support for the company’s products directly to the customer base. You will be joining a hardworking and dedicated Support team within an entrepreneurial and fast paced environment. You will also work closely with the company’s sales and engineering teams.On a day to Day basis the Support Specialist will:·Respond promptly to support requests and inquiries from clients·Support customers and resolve issues related to order entry, risk management, and exchange connectivity·Conduct analysis of complex order and trade histories·Document and track case histories, issues and actionable steps taken·Identify solutions to open issues / problems that are under investigation or pending resolution·Improve documentation of support policies and procedures·Work directly with new customers to coordinate deployment and configuration of the company’s products·Manage distribution and installation of software enhancementsApplication Support Specialists MUST have:STEM Degree Some experience of application support in financial technology Experience in finance Understanding of the trade lifecycle SQL You will be joining a progressive and exciting company committed to excellence.
