Press Brake Setter / Operator – Amada (Southam) Location: Southam, Warwickshire (CV47) Job type: Permanent Salary: £16-£17 a hour Hours: 40 hours a week - Overtime available. The opportunity ABS Talent is recruiting a Press Brake Setter / Operator for an established sheet metal fabricator in Southam, supplying premium automotive and blue-chip customers. They run a modern shop with multiple Amada press brakes folding up to 3 metres, alongside laser, punching, welding and powder coating. Overtime is available for anyone who wants to earn more, and there is scope to develop with the business. The role * Setting and operating Amada press brakes to produce sheet metal components * Reading and interpreting engineering drawings * Selecting tooling and setting up jobs accurately * Folding to specification and tolerance, with in-process quality checks * Programming the press brake if you can (an advantage, not essential) * Keeping a safe, clean and organised work area About you * Proven experience as a Press Brake Setter / Operator, ideally on Amada machines * Confident setting as well as operating * Able to read technical drawings and work to tolerance * Programming ability an advantage * Reliable, with a good work ethic and a willingness to put the hours in * A stable work history is a plus What's on offer * £16-£17 a hour (Depending on Experience) * Overtime available * A modern, well-equipped fabrication shop with quality customers * A stable, established employer Interested?
