Building Services Manager

Our client, a top-tier Main Contractor delivering high-profile Data Centre projects, is looking to appoint a Building Services Manager to lead MEP technical input from preconstruction through to delivery.

This is a central, multi-project role — rather than being embedded on a single site, you'll provide MEP design and technical leadership across several live projects at once, with a hybrid working pattern of around 3 days working from home and 2 days on site.

Building Services Manager roles & responsibilities: Providing MEP technical input and design leadership across multiple live Data Centre projects, from preconstruction through to delivery Acting as the technical authority on mechanical and electrical matters, supporting project teams with coordination, risk management and design assurance A hybrid working pattern: typically 3 days working from home, 2 days on site (across whichever project needs you most that week) Working closely with Design Managers, Commercial Leads and delivery teams across the portfolio Building Services Manager experience required: Previous Data Centre build project experience is essential — this is a non-negotiable requirement A strong Mechanical & Electrical technical background covering both preconstruction and delivery stages Main contractor background Comfortable operating across multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising and managing competing technical demands Building Services Manager remuneration: £110,000 – £125,000 + full package Hybrid working — flexibility to balance home and site A high-profile, portfolio-wide role at the technical heart of a business genuinely on the front foot in the Data Centre sector This is a red hot role for a start straight away.
