Principal Structural EngineerGlasgow | Hybrid WorkingAn excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Principal Structural Engineer to join a growing multidisciplinary consultancy with a strong pipeline of projects across the renewable energy, commercial, residential and public sectors.This role will suit a technically strong and collaborative engineer looking to take a lead role in the delivery of complex building structures projects while supporting and mentoring junior team members within a dynamic engineering environment.The Role:You will play a key role in delivering structural solutions across a varied portfolio of projects, working closely with multidisciplinary teams including MEP, architecture and specialist consultants.Responsibilities will include:Leading structural design delivery across steel, concrete and masonry projectsProducing and reviewing structural calculations and technical drawingsCoordinating BIM/CAD outputs and multidisciplinary design informationAttending client, design and coordination meetingsSupporting and mentoring junior engineers and techniciansContributing to sustainable and low-carbon design solutionsCarrying out occasional site visits and technical inspectionsRequirements:Degree qualified in Civil or Structural EngineeringChartered or working towards Chartership (ICE or IStructE)Strong experience in structural design using steel and concreteExperience with Tekla Structural Designer and related softwareBackground delivering building structures projects within the UKUnderstanding of portal frame design and industrial/energy projects desirableStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsExperience working within multidisciplinary design teamsWhat's on Offer:Opportunity to work on high-profile renewable energy and infrastructure projectsHybrid and flexible working arrangementsStrong focus on technical development and progressionCollaborative and supportive team environmentCompetitive salary and benefits packageSalary:Up to 60k DOELocation:Glasgow Type:permanentSUBMIT CV
