The Role – Science Teacher
A welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Greenwich is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis from September 2026. In this Science Teacher position, you will be responsible for teaching KS3 and KS4 Science to mixed-ability classes, covering key areas including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. You will be expected to deliver engaging and well-planned lessons that encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and a strong understanding of scientific concepts.
The successful Science Teacher will also be responsible for delivering practical investigations and experiments in a safe and structured classroom environment, helping students develop both their theoretical knowledge and practical skills. You will monitor student progress, prepare pupils for examinations, and support learners of varying abilities to achieve their full potential.
This role would suit a motivated and enthusiastic teacher with excellent subject knowledge, strong classroom management skills, and a genuine passion for inspiring young people. Both experienced teachers and ECTs are encouraged to apply.
