Service Administrator

Service Administrator * Location: Aldridge * Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time * Salary: £28,800 per year (depending on experience) * Hours: 40 hours per week | between 08:00 and 16:30 Monday to Friday Questech Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Service Administrator to join an established organisation based in Aldridge. This is a site based administrative role, providing support to the Field Service team. You’ll work closely with service technicians, customers and internal departments, helping to keep jobs running smoothly from start to finish. This will include raising job cards, processing technician hours, managing service documentation, invoicing and warranty claims. The role would suit an organised and proactive administrator who enjoys working in a busy environment and has strong attention to detail. The Role: * Raising job cards and maintaining accurate service records * Processing technician time bookings and job information * Checking and collating service documentation * Finalising parts and labour charges on completed jobs * Closing completed jobs accurately and within required timescales * Processing service invoices and credits * Creating, monitoring and processing warranty claims * Producing reports and maintaining accurate records * Liaising with technicians, customers and internal departments * Supporting the wider Field Service team with day-to-day administration The Candidate: * Previous administration experience * Strong customer service and communication skills * Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word * Excellent organisation and time management skills * Strong attention to detail * Ability to prioritise a busy workload and meet deadlines * Confident working in a fast-paced environment * A proactive, flexible and team-focused approach Previous experience within a service, automotive, engineering, fleet or workshop environment would be advantageous, but is not essential.
