Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - Data Centre

The company are one of the world’s leading consultancies in the Data Centre Sector. An independent multi-award-winning business, with an excellent industry reputation. They work with both developers and internationally recognised end users, designing Data Centre Projects globally, typical project values reach the multibillion-pound region. As the Manchester office develops the business is looking to appoint several key individuals. As such there is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the team. Successful applicants will have a relevant degree and sufficient industry experience to operate as a Senior Mechanical Engineer. Key functions include. * Mechanical building services design to data centre projects throughout Europe and globally. * Contributing to the team to ensure successful preparation and delivery on project objectives, including providing technical support. * Communicating effectively with both internal and external design teams, clients and collaborators to ensure successful project delivery. * Compiling specifications, drawings, and relevant Contract documents and maintaining the required technical quality of work, ensuring that designs comply with the relevant Codes, Standards, Regulations, and Procedures Key Benefits to the role as follows.. · Data Projects are MEP Lead – Often the business is employed by the client in a Lead role. · Secure workload, currently in framework agreements with major global brand name clients.
