Contractor Accountant

We're working with an established accountancy firm who are looking to add an experienced Contractor Accountant to their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who already has experience looking after a portfolio of contractor clients and wants to continue developing within a specialist accounting environment. The role will involve: * Managing a portfolio of 50+ Limited Company contractor clients * Preparing year-end accounts and corporation tax returns * Supporting clients with their day-to-day accounting and tax queries * Managing VAT returns and general bookkeeping requirements * Building strong relationships with clients and acting as a key point of contact * Ensuring accounts and tax work is completed accurately and on time We're looking for someone with: * At least 12 months' experience in a contractor accounting role * Experience managing a portfolio of 50+ Limited Company clients * AAT Level 4 qualified is preferred * Candidates with AAT Level 3 will also be considered where they have stronger contractor accounting experience * Good knowledge of Limited Company accounts and tax * Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach Salary: £26,000 - £28,000
