Blackburn , Monday to Friday (NO Weekends)
We are currently seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy and professional workshop environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within the motor industry while working as part of a supportive and skilled team.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with the Workshop Manager to complete allocated jobs efficiently
Liaise with the Service Advisor team regarding additional work or customer updates
Attend training sessions (both on-site and off-site)
Provide detailed updates on work progress
Carry out vehicle health checks
Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety standards
Use diagnostic equipment to assess and verify repairs
Road test vehicles where required after work is completed
Complete all relevant service documentation accurately (job cards, reports, worksheets)
Record clear descriptions of faults identified and repairs carried out
Requirements
Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Service and Repair (minimum)
At least 3 years experience as a Vehicle Technician
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Full UK driving licence
Professional, reliable, and presentable
Proactive xwzovoh 'can-do' attitude
Good time management and ability to meet deadlines
