Running three days a week (Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays), this role is perfect for a teacher seeking a rewarding work-life balance while making a genuine impact on young creative minds!
Position Overview
Job Title: Performing Arts Teacher
Location: Fylde Coast
Position: Part-Time (Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays)
Start Date: ASAP (Urgent start for 1st September 2026)
Contract: Long-Term
Pay Rate: Competitive (Dependent on experience)
Key Responsibilities
Deliver Engaging Lessons: Teach practical and theoretical skills in acting, vocal technique, and choreography across age groups.
Direct School Productions: Lead and manage exciting school plays, musicals, concerts, and community showcases.
Guide Exam Success: Prepare and mentor students through qualifications including GCSE, BTEC, and RSL performance grades.
Foster Inclusion: Build a safe, encouraging environment where students develop technical skills, personal confidence, and social growth.
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualifications/experience in Performing Arts.
Proven track record of planning and delivering engaging performing arts lessons.
Strong behavior management skills and a creative, energetic approach.
Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
