Management Accountant, Production

GALENT are recruiting for a Management Accountant, Production opportunity suitable for an experienced Management Accountant or Production Finance professional within the Media & Entertainment industry based in London. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-growth and highly collaborative production and media business supporting multiple successful productions and creative projects. The role has been created as the business continues to scale and bring further finance operations in-house. The successful candidate will act as a key finance business partner between Finance and the creative production teams, supporting both operational and strategic finance activities in a fast-paced and evolving production environment. The finance team remains lean despite significant company growth, creating excellent exposure and long-term progression opportunities for the right individual. You will be responsible for: • Preparation of monthly management accounts • Budgeting and forecasting • Variance analysis and KPI reporting • Cash flow and treasury management • Month-end and year-end processes • Revenue recognition and slate reporting • Supporting production accounting activities • Supporting tax credit applications and production incentives • Business partnering with production teams and senior stakeholders • Supporting wider strategic and commercial projects • Overseeing AP/AR processes and financial controls • Supporting audits and financial statement preparation • Supporting process improvements and finance system integration The ideal Management Accountant, Production will possess the following attributes/skills: • Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA) • Production accounting or media finance exposure • Experience working with production tax credits • Strong management accounting background • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills • Commercially minded with a proactive approach • Advanced Excel capability • Exposure to Xero and/or Syft would be advantageous • Comfortable working autonomously within a fast-paced environment This is an excellent opportunity for a Management Accountant, Production to join a growing and highly regarded media business offering strong exposure, career development, collaborative leadership and the opportunity to genuinely influence the finance function as the business continues to expand.
