Job Title: Legal Finance Manager

Salary: £120,000

Our client, a highly respected law firm, is seeking a skilled and commercially minded finance manager to lead their financial operations. It is essential that you can demonstrate an extensive background as a finance manager / accountant in other law firms.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all day-to-day accounting operations.
• Ensure strict compliance with solicitors’ accounts rules.
• Oversee client accounting and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flows.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop the cashiering team.
• Coordinate annual audits and tax filing preparations.
• Optimise financial systems, processes, and internal controls.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to firm partners.

It is essential that you have a solid track record in law firm finance with first class communication and leadership skills. This is a hands-on role dealing with day-to-day accounting duties as well as playing a key part in driving improvements to the operational efficiency, technology and processes used by the finance department.
