Motor Vehicle Technician

J&R Fleet Management is looking for an experienced and motivated Level 2 / Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join our growing team.

We work on a wide range of cars, vans, and fleet vehicles, with a strong focus on maintaining high standards across the food wholesale and commercial vehicle industry. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can work confidently both independently and as part of a professional workshop team.

*The Role Will Include:*

* Vehicle servicing and maintenance
* Mechanical repairs and fault finding
* Diagnostics using modern equipment
* MOT preparation and inspections
* Brake, suspension, and steering repairs
* Tyres, wheel alignment, and general workshop duties
* Working on light commercial and fleet vehicles

*What We’re Looking For:*

* Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
* Good all-round mechanical knowledge
* Experience working on cars and light commercial vehicles
* Ability to diagnose faults efficiently
* Strong work ethic and attention to detail
* Full UK driving licence preferred

*Experience:*

* Mechanical experience: minimum 3 years preferred

*Schedule:*

* Monday to Friday
* Minimum of one Saturday per month required
* Overtime available

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £28,000.00 per year
