Lead HGV Technician

Lead HGV Technician Location: Belfast Salary: Up to £50,000 We're recruiting for an experienced Lead HGV Technician to join a busy workshop operation in Belfast. This is a senior hands-on role, ideal for an experienced commercial vehicle technician looking to step into more responsibility while remaining technically involved. You'll support workshop leadership, help drive team performance, and ensure all vehicles are maintained to legal and operational standards. Key Responsibilities: Carry out servicing, maintenance and repair of HGVs Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults Maintain tail lifts and associated systems Ensure vehicles meet legal compliance and operator licence standards Complete maintenance paperwork accurately and on time Support workshop scheduling and stock management Assist with training and mentoring technicians/apprentices Help improve workshop efficiency and minimise downtime Promote strong health & safety standardsRequirements: Level 3 / 4 qualification in HGV/LGV Maintenance & Repair Strong commercial vehicle diagnostics experience Knowledge of electrical systems Experience working on HGV fleets Ability to work rotating shifts (days / lates) Supervisory experience desirable C+E licence advantageousWhat's on offer: Up to £50,000 Strong benefits package Long-term career progression Established, well-equipped workshop environmentIf you receive suspicious outreach claiming to be from us, please contact us via the ManpowerGroup website
