A leading top 10 accountancy firm in Leeds is seeking an experienced and motivated Audit Senior join their expanding audit team. As an Audit Senior, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality audit and advisory services to a diverse client portfolio. You will:
- Lead and project-manage audit engagements from planning through to completion.
- Work closely with senior client stakeholders, building strong and trusted relationships.
- Take ownership of fieldwork, technical analysis and audit documentation.
- Support managers and partners in delivering a seamless client experience.
- Contribute to the wider running of the team, with opportunities to join firm-wide working groups and advisory projects.
- Manage a small portfolio of assignments, helping you build the skills needed for the next stage of your career.
What you'll need to succeed
- ACA or ACCA qualification
- Strong audit experience, including planning and completion
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Commercial awareness and a proactive approach
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments
- Good technical knowledge of current accounting and auditing standards
- Proficiency in Excel and Word; experience with audit software is advantageous.
- 35-hour working week with hybrid flexibility (minimum 2 days in office)
