A school in Rugby are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated, and passionate Teacher of Geography to join their successful Humanities Department. This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding teacher or an ambitious Early Career Teacher (ECT) to inspire students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
We are looking for someone who can bring geography to life, encouraging students to develop curiosity about the world, understand global issues, and appreciate the relationship between people and the environment.
The successful candidate will:
Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Geography lessons to students in KS3 and KS4.
Inspire students to achieve their full potential through creative and inclusive teaching.
Monitor, assess, and support student progress in line with school policies.
Create a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment.
Contribute to curriculum development within the Humanities department.
Play an active role in the wider life of the school.We Are Looking for Someone Who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is working towards it (ECTs are welcome to apply).
Has strong subject knowledge in Geography.
Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills.
Is passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
Has high expectations of student achievement and behaviour.
