Assistant Site Manager Location: Wakefield Project: £32m Industrial Unit Duration: ASAP – May 2027 Rate: £220 – £270 per day Role: Assistant Site Manager We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Site Manager to join a major £32m industrial unit project in Wakefield Reporting directly to the Site Manager / Senior Site Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the site, combining site-based responsibilities with the associated paperwork and project administration. The Role * Supporting the Site Manager and Senior Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the project * Assisting with site inductions and onboarding of contractors * Managing and maintaining site paperwork and documentation * Assisting with RAMS, risk assessments and compliance * Monitoring works and subcontractors out on site * Managing plant records / plant sticks * Supporting site meetings and coordination with subcontractors * Using digital site management systems, ideally Procore * Helping ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme requirements Requirements * SMSTS * CSCS * First Aid * Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager or similar role * Strong organisational and communication skills * Comfortable working both on site and with project documentation * Tech savvy with good IT skills * Procore experience would be highly desirable What's on Offer? * £220 – £270 per day, depending on experience * Long-term contract through to May 2027 * Opportunity to work on a major industrial project * Immediate start available If you're an experienced Assistant Site Manager looking for a long-term opportunity in Wakefield, we'd like to hear from you.
