About the role
We’re recruiting an experienced Housing Officer to support a busy Glasgow based social housing team on a short‑term contract. This role requires someone who can manage a varied caseload, work independently, and deliver a high‑quality service from day one.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a patch covering allocations, arrears, ASB and tenancy sustainment
* Carry out void inspections, identify required works and liaise with contractors
* Deliver estate management and tenancy support services
* Work closely with tenants, including conducting visits
* Work with partner agencies and internal teams
* Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience as a Housing Officer or similar role within social housing
* Strong knowledge of Scottish housing legislation and best practice
* Confident managing a busy caseload and making informed decisions
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to start immediately or at short notice
