*Responsibilities*

* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards
* Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining quality and presentation
* Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
* Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to health and safety guidelines
* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours
* Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure continuous workflow
* Support the team in maintaining a positive and professional working environment

*Requirements*

* Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant setting
* Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
* Excellent attention to detail, ensuring consistency in dish quality and presentation
* Ability to work as part of a team, demonstrating good communication skills
* Previous experience serving or interacting with customers is advantageous but not essential
* A genuine passion for culinary arts and a desire to learn new techniques

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
