Mechanical Design Engineer

My client was founded in 2018 having laid their foundations at Cambridge University. Having worked with some of the world’s leading experts in sensing technology, their aim is to become the industry standard within this industry.    As the Mechanical Design Engineer, you are responsible for being the design authority for all products that are developed and manufactured for customers. Additionally, the successful candidate will provide technical assurance to the sales process and to ensure that customer requirements are developed into specifications that are within the capabilities of the processes and technologies at disposal. What we would like from the Mechanical Design Engineer: Degree qualified or HNC/HND with relevant experience Proficient with 3D modelling ideally using Autodesk Fusion 360 but open to experience using any CAD package Experience designing bespoke products Experienced in tolerances and stress within mechanical design Experienced in New Product Introduction (NPI) and New Product Development (NPD)  What we offer the Mechanical Design Engineer: Salary Up to £45,000 doe 24 days annual leave Bank Holidays Hybrid working available 5% employer pension contribution and 3% for the employee Working Hours are 8.30 till 5pm Monday to Thursday and  If this opportunity as a Mechanical Design Engineer is of interest to you, don’t hesitate and get in touch asap!
