About the role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Firestopper to join a long-term freelance project based across East London. This is a long-term opportunity for a reliable and experienced Firestopper, with consistent work available for the right individual. The Role * Carrying out firestopping and passive fire protection works across residential and social housing properties. * Installing firestopping systems including mastic, batt, collars, wraps and other associated products. * Completing remedial firestopping works in line with project specifications and manufacturer requirements. * Working to the required quality, safety and compliance standards. * Completing works efficiently and professionally while maintaining a high standard of workmanship. * Working across multiple sites throughout East London. Requirements * NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection – essential. * Previous experience working as a Firestopper / Passive Fire Protection Operative. * Good knowledge of firestopping and compartmentation works. * Manual Handling qualification. * Asbestos Awareness. * Working at Height. * Must have your own van. * Must have your own tools. * Must be able to work on a self-employed/CIS basis. * Reliable, professional and able to work independently. * Social housing or occupied residential experience would be advantageous. Package * Up to £210 per day, dependent on experience. * Long-term freelance work. * Self-employed / CIS. * Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm. Interested?
