The ideal candidate will have a valid driving license, experience as a Street works Operative, and a commitment to promoting environmental responsibility. Responsibilities Rapidly respond to reports of fly tipping across assigned areas, ensuring timely and efficient clearance. Drive a company vehicle safely and responsibly to attend various sites. Operate as a Street works Operative, adhering to all relevant safety standards and protocols. Liaise with, community members, and team members to coordinate response efforts. Document incidents, actions taken, and outcomes accurately using company systems. Promote awareness of waste disposal regulations and encourage community compliance. Maintain all equipment and vehicles in a clean and functional state. Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines to protect yourself, colleagues, and the public.Qualifications Valid driving license with a clean driving record. Physical fitness and the ability to manage manual handling tasks safely. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with respect for diverse communities. Commitment to supporting inclusion, diversity, and equality in the workplace. Ability to work independently and make quick decisions under pressure. Willingness to undertake any necessary training or certifications.Day-to-Day A typical day involves responding promptly to reports of illegal dumping, driving between various locations using a company vehicle, and safely clearing debris from streets and public areas.
