An ambitious and growing law firm is seeking an experienced Public Law Solicitor to play a leading role in the development and expansion of its Public Law, Human Rights and Inquests practice.

The Opportunity

Lead the growth and development of the Public Law, Human Rights and Inquests offering

Manage and develop a caseload of judicial review, human rights and legally aided matters

Represent clients in complex and sensitive cases involving public authorities

Undertake and develop inquest work, including Article 2 cases

Help shape strategy, processes and future recruitment within the team

Supervise and mentor junior lawyers where appropriate

Build relationships across the sector and contribute to business development initiatives

About You

Qualified Solicitor with strong experience in Public Law, Human Rights and/or Inquests

Legal Aid Supervisor status is essential

Demonstrable experience managing complex publicly funded matters

Passionate about access to justice and representing vulnerable clients

Commercially aware with an interest in developing and growing a specialist practice

Ambitious, collaborative and motivated to build something for the long term
