Machine Operator - Days

Questech Recruitment are looking for an experienced Machine Operator (with 360/Loading Shovel experience) to join our client's busy metal recycling operation. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is reliable, safety-conscious, and experienced in fast-paced industrial environments. Location: DN4 Shifts: 6am - 6pm 4 on 4 off Salary: £14.00ph Key Responsibilities * Operate loading shovel and 360 grab machinery safely and efficiently * Load, sort, move, and process scrap metal materials * Feed processing equipment and maintain smooth yard operations * Carry out daily machine checks and basic maintenance Requirements * Proven experience operating a loading shovel and 360 grab (licenses essential) * Experience within metal recycling, waste management, quarrying, or similar industries is advantageous * Good understanding of health & safety practices * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Reliable, hardworking, and punctual attitude If you are interested please get in touch with Holly on (phone number removed)
