Hours: 37.5 Hours per week, Monday and Friday

We're looking for an Employee Relations Advisor to join our growing People Team, providing expert employee relations advice and support to managers across the business while helping create a great place to work for all colleagues.
Role Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of complex employee relations cases, ensuring fair, compliant and commercially focused outcomes.
- Advise, coach and support managers on employee relations matters in line with employment legislation, company policies and best practice.
- Build effective working relationships with senior stakeholders, the wider HR team and business leaders across Mitie.
- Collaborate with Legal and Occupational Health partners on Early Conciliation cases, Employment Tribunal claims and employee wellbeing matters.
- Review employee relations policies and processes, making recommendations and supporting the implementation of continuous improvements.
What We're Looking For
- Strong knowledge of employee relations policies, procedures and UK employment law of varied complexity
- Experience managing a varied employee relations caseload with confidence and professionalism
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and coach managers effectively.
- A people-focused approach, demonstrating respect, discretion and confidentiality at all times.
- Experience working within a HR Shared Services environment is desirable.
- A curious and solutions-focused mindset, with the ability to adapt your approach to different situations.
- Ideally CIPD qualified at Level 3 or Level 5, with support available for further professional development.
