Delegate Sales Manager | Financial Services Events
Hybrid working – 3 days a week
£55k basic - £90-100k Uncapped OTE

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced sales leader to join a globally recognised events organisation, delivering high-quality, insight-led conferences within the financial services sector.
This role offers the chance to combine strategic leadership with hands-on commercial responsibility, within a high-performing and collaborative environment.
The Role
You will take ownership of a well-established and successful event portfolio, leading a team while maintaining personal revenue responsibility.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 5 (with scope for growth)
- Manage a portfolio of 3–5 events annually across Europe and the US
- Operate in a player-manager capacity (approximately 60% leadership / 40% personal sales)
- Oversee both established flagship events and new product launches
This role requires a leader who can drive performance, set standards, and contribute commercially.
The Market
- Financial services (middle & back office / capital markets focus)
- Large-scale, high-value conferences (up to ~900 attendees)
- Diverse stakeholder engagement across delegates, sponsors, and solution providers
Success in this role will require the ability to understand and engage with complex subject matter, contributing to the ongoing growth of the event portfolio.
Candidate Profile
- Background in delegate sales, event sales, or broader commercial sales environments
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership or player-manager role
- Strong commercial acumen xwzovoh with a structured and organised approach
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver against targets
- Interest in financial services or relevant sector exposure is advantageous
