Quantity Surveyor

Location: Manchester (Hybrid working available)

I'm currently partnering with a leading Construction Consultancy that's experiencing sustained growth within their Quantity Surveying team. They're now seeking a project level Quantity Surveyor to join their established Manchester team.


The Role


You'll be working on a diverse range of building projects across the a variety of sectors including residential, education, blue light and heritage, supporting both public and private clients. This is a great opportunity to play a key part in delivering some of the region's most high-profile schemes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver all aspects of pre- and post-contract quantity surveying services
  • Prepare cost plans, estimates, and tender documentation
  • Administer contracts under JCT and other standard forms
  • Manage project budgets and control costs throughout project lifecycles
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and key stakeholders
  • Support the development of junior staff (for senior applicants)


About You

  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
  • Ideally chartered (MRICS) or working towards it
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
