A well-established and highly regarded organisation in North Yorkshire is seeking an experienced Sales & Events Administrator to join their team. They are seeking a candidate who is personable, bubbly, highly organised, and confident when it comes to chasing payments or managing expectations professionally when required.

This is a varied and fast-paced role suited to someone who thrives in a busy environment, particularly during the summer season when the business is at its busiest. Were looking for a proactive administrator who is confident managing customer relationships, coordinating events, and keeping on top of invoicing and operational administration. Key Responsibilities Managing all customer enquiries via phone and email
Handling event enquiries including show rounds, quotations, and bookings
Generating both proactive and reactive sales opportunities
Coordinating all event administration from booking through to completion
Issuing contracts, confirmations, invoices, and chasing overdue payments
Delivering exceptional customer service throughout the customer journey
Supporting schedules, staff rotas, reservations, and stock counts
Liaising with operational teams to ensure smooth event delivery
Assisting on event days to ensure seamless execution
Attending meetings, taking minutes, and communicating actions
Occasionally covering Front Desk duties and serving customers
Supporting the wider marketing activities of the business
Skills & Experience Required Previous experience within business administration, events, hospitality, or sales support
Strong administrative and organisational skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Confident multitasker xwzovoh with strong attention to detail
Customer service focused with a positive and approachable personality
Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Commercially minded with a proactive approach
Confident using computer systems and software
Comfortable chasing invoices and managing situations assertively when needed
