- Exclusive About the Role: This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Development Manager to lead a growing team of engineers delivering cutting-edge AI and automation initiatives.
You'll oversee the full development lifecycle from strategy and architecture through to deployment and optimisation, ensuring high technical standards, agile delivery, and measurable business impact.
The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership with hands-on technical knowledge, particularly in modern cloud-native engineering and AI/ML integration.
You'll work closely with senior stakeholders to define priorities, empower teams, and drive scalable solutions that push the boundaries of what's possible.
Key Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Software Engineers and AI Specialists.
Define and deliver an AI development roadmap aligned with business strategy.
Ensure best practices in coding, architecture, testing, and DevOps.
Oversee end-to-end delivery across multiple agile squads.
Collaborate with Product, Data, and Infrastructure teams to integrate AI-driven features and systems.
Foster a culture of continuous learning, technical excellence, and innovation.
Track performance metrics, ensuring delivery efficiency and product quality.
Essential Skills & Experience: Proven experience in engineering or development management, ideally within data or AI-focused environments.
Strong technical background in modern cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Understanding of AI/ML frameworks, data pipelines, and modern application architectures.
Experience leading cross-functional agile teams in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and mentoring skills.
Desirable Skills: Exposure to AI model lifecycle management, MLOps, or data engineering.
Experience in scaling engineering teams and delivering enterprise-level digital solutions.
Background in financial services, SaaS, or large-scale digital transformation projects.
