UK, Ireland & Benelux Vestas is the energy industry's global partner on sustainable energy solutions. We specialise in designing, manufacturing, installing, and servicing wind turbines, both onshore and offshore. The Northern and Central Europe (NCE) North-West Service Commercial team is responsible for service-related commercial topics across UK, Ireland and Benelux onshore markets.

We build strong customer relationships, manage accounts, create value propositions, and negotiate service contracts and aftermarket products. We are accountable for delivering profitable growth in line with our commercial strategy. We now seek a Service Sales Manager to join our team.ResponsibilitiesYour main responsibilities will be: Build and maintain strong customer relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and primary commercial contact for service-related activitiesOwn and deliver service sales targets through new contracts, renewals, upselling opportunities, and new business growth within assigned accountsDevelop and execute account strategies that align with customer needs, operational performance, and long-term partnership goalsIdentify, develop, and convert opportunities for value-added services to maximise contract scope and commercial performanceCollaborate closely with sales, operations, technical, legal, and finance teams to ensure successful delivery of service solutions and commitmentsLead commercial negotiations for service agreements, ensuring competitive offerings while effectively managing riskMonitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to continuously refine sales strategies and enhance service propositionsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experienceProven experience in sales and/or customer account management, ideally within services, aftersales, turbine sales, or long-term service-based business modelsDemonstrated entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to develop customer value propositions and deliver value-engineering solutionsStrong experience in contract management and commercial negotiationsProven ability to build long-term customer relationships and develop mutually beneficial, win-win solutionsKnowledge of the wind energy, renewable energy, power generation, or related sectors would be highly advantageousProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, with experience using Salesforce and fluency in English; additional Dutch, French, or German language skills are desirableCompetenciesWe expect that you:Ambitious, driven, and inquisitive professional with strong business acumen and a proactive approach to achieving resultsCustomer-focused with proven sales capabilities and a solution-oriented mindset that delivers value for clientsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects while effectively engaging a wide range of stakeholdersExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to deliver impactful presentationsStrong commercial awareness with a sound understanding of cost management, profitability, and risk mitigationHighly organised and methodical, with experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce to manage customer engagement and sales activitiesFlexible and willing to travel as required, typically 1 to 3 days per week, to support customer relationships and business objectivesWhat we offer We offer an exciting job with excellent opportunities for professional and personal development in a dynamic, high performing, international work environment in the renewable and sustainable energy sector.
