Project Partners are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Agent in the Lea Bridge Road, London area who is looking for a new permanent position working within the Civil Engineering and Water Utilities industry.
The purpose of this role is to ensure successful delivery on site of a range of mains renewals schemes. The role covers the schemes in the London region. The ideal candidate will have experience managing infrastructure projects, ideally in water mains or utilities, with a strong understanding of site operations, health & safety, and quality standards.
Role Responsibilities
Project Coordination:
Oversee daily site operations to ensure timely delivery of water main replacement works, coordinating closely with site teams and subcontractors.
Material & Equipment Management:
Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and equipment to site teams, preventing delays and maintaining workflow efficiency.
Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance
Uphold and enforce all HSE standards on-site, conducting regular inspections and promoting a culture of safety.
Stakeholder Communication:
Liaise with clients, local authorities, and internal teams to provide updates, resolve issues, and maintain strong working relationships.
Team Leadership:
Lead and motivate site personnel, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment aligned with the companies values.
Progress Monitoring & Reporting:
Track project milestones, maintain accurate site records, and report progress to senior management, highlighting risks and mitigation strategies.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure all works meet required specifications and standards, conducting inspections and managing quality control documentation.
Problem Solving:
Respond swiftly to site challenges, including logistical issues or unforeseen delays, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
Cost Control:
Monitor site expenditures, manage resources efficiently, and support the commercial team in maintaining budgetary control.
Continuous Improvement:
Contribute to process improvements and innovation, helping the company set new benchmarks in water infrastructure delivery.
Candidate Experience Required:
- Experience managing infrastructure projects, ideally in water mains or utilities, with a strong understanding of site operations, health & safety, and quality standards.
- Proven ability to manage the timely delivery of materials and equipment to field teams, avoiding delays and ensuring smooth project progression
- Experience leading site teams and subcontractors, while effectively liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal departments to maintain project momentum.

- Water Hygiene EUSR Card
- NRSWA – Unit 10 (or equivalent), backfilling and reinstating.
- Cable Avoidance/Safe Digging
- First AID
- Able to utilise basic I.T programmes (excel, word and outlook)
- Temporary Works Supervisor (desirable)
- Slinger/Signaller (desirable)
- NPORS Traffic Marshall or Banksmen (desirable)
