Audit & Accounts Director / Audit & Accounts Partner Designate (with RI status)

McGinnis Loy Associates is proud to be working with a fast growing Regional Accountancy Firm with 12 partners and 80+ staff who are looking for an Audit & Accounts Director / Partner Designate (ideally with RI status) to join their growing LONDON team. Reporting to the Senior Partners, it will be a salaried role profit share initially, with a view to becoming an equity partner in the future. You will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of OMBs/SMEs including Limited Companies, PE-backed firms and Partnerships (typically up to £150m turnover) and managing a team of Qualified General Practice staff. Key deliverables for the position include:

• Reviewing complex client accounts & financial statements prepared by Qualified staff for client sign-off
• Ensuring all Audit & Account assignments comply with UK Accounting Standards and internal policies & procedures
• Managing complex audits, staff planning, presenting final audit files/close-out meetings with clients at 'C’ suite level
• Planning special project assignments, ownership of agreed budgets and ensuring the teams meet client deadlines.
