About the Opportunity
We are recruiting for an Area Planner to support one of our major clients with the coordination and delivery of planning activities across a major project. This role focuses on producing accurate, high-quality planning outputs, aligned to project strategy within a complex and regulated environment.
You will contribute to an integrated, digitally enabled planning approach, working closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment across all levels of the project.
What You’ll Be Doing
As an Area Planner, you will manage and maintain integrated schedules, ensuring plans are logically structured and aligned with project objectives. You will work with internal teams and supply chain partners to provide clear, timely reporting and support decision-making through effective planning insights.
Key Responsibilities Will Include
Developing and managing integrated schedules aligned to work breakdown structures.
Driving planning activities across multiple levels, ensuring consistency between strategic and detailed plans.
Supporting the identification and assessment of risks and opportunities using data-led insights.
Reviewing and challenging schedule performance to support overall project delivery.
Producing regular planning reports in line with agreed cycles.
Contributing to sequencing strategies to optimise delivery outcomes.
Integrating supply chain schedules into the overall project plan.
Managing schedule changes and tracking performance indicators.
Ensuring compliance with planning standards, governance, and document control requirements.
Collaborating across teams to support coordinated delivery.
What You Could Have
A degree or equivalent in Engineering, Construction, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
Experience in planning or project controls within complex, regulated environments (e.g. energy or nuclear).
Knowledge of integrated planning methodologies on major infrastructure projects.
Experience using planning and project controls systems.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret planning data.
Good stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills.

£84,000 based on skills and experience
