Our client located on the Hertfordshire/Essex border are looking to recruit a detail-driven and proactive Risk and Compliance Lawyer from between 2- 6 years experience within a similar role.  This is an excellent opportunity for someone in the early stages in their career who are looking to establish and build expertise across data protection, AML, regulatory compliance and risk management.  Key Responsibilities for this Risk and Compliance Lawyer role: Handling day to day data protection compliance matters Managing subject access requests and supporting the response to potential data breaches Supporting the firms onboarding processes Conducting AML and KYC checks Assist with ongoing AML compliance in line with UK regulatory requirements Manage and respond to risk queries Supporting and drafting responses to client complaints File audits Compliance reviewsQualifications and Experience for this Risk and Compliance Lawyer role: Experience between 2- 6 years within a law firm Law degree or equivalent  Have attention to detail and a methodical approach Willing to learn and develop within a fast-paced environmentBenefits for this Risk and Compliance Lawyer role: Salary in the region of £52,000 - £65,000 and open for discussion Hybrid working after completion of probationary period Enhanced pension scheme Excellent holiday entitlement increasing with length of service Birthday leaveIf you're a Risk and Compliance Lawyer ready to take the next step in your career, apply today.
