We're looking for a Mobile Remedial Engineer to join our specialist water compliance team, supporting customers across the Midlands with planned maintenance, remedial works, and Legionella control activities. You'll play an important role in helping customers maintain safe and compliant water systems while delivering high standards of service and technical expertise.Role ResponsibilitiesComplete a range of Legionella control activities, including planned preventative maintenance (PPM), remedial cleaning, water sampling, and chemical testing.Carry out plumbing remedial works including dead leg removal, pipework insulation, cold water storage tank replacements, TMV installations, and associated plumbing tasks.Undertake routine monitoring and inspection activities in accordance with Approved Code of Practice (ACoP) L8 requirements.Maintain customer water hygiene logbooks and ensure all documentation is completed accurately in line with current legislation and company procedures.Perform water system cleans and disinfections in accordance with ACoP L8 guidance and company standards.Ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.Required QualificationsApplicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role:NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds Level 2 qualification in Plumbing.Full UK driving licence.Ability to travel throughout the Midlands region as part of a mobile role.What We're Looking ForPrevious experience within Compliance Servicing, Legionella Monitoring, Water Hygiene, Water Treatment, or a similar environment.We welcome applicants with transferable skills and experience from related industries, even if they have limited direct Legionella experience.Good understanding of water systems maintenance and water hygiene practices.Strong attention to detail with the ability to complete compliance documentation accurately.A proactive and customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills.What's in it for you?Access to Mitie's Choices platform, offering lifestyle benefits including the option to buy additional holiday, dental cover, technology purchase schemes, virtual GP services, and cycle-to-work benefits.Access to MiDeals, providing discounts across a wide range of retailers and services.Structured training and development pathways to support your career progression.Participation in the Mitie Stars recognition programme, including monthly and annual cash awards.The opportunity to earn free shares through the Mitie Matching Share Plan.There's a place for you at Mitie, join us today!The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.Ref:102967 Location:Birmingham Employment:Full time Role Classification:1
