Full Time Electrician

Role : Electrical Installation Only Paid travel time | Transport provided | Additional hours available £40,000–£50,000 indicative annual earnings, depending on experience and hours worked Company: LET Electrical & Renewables Job Type: Full-time, Permanent *LET Electrical & Renewables is a growing, family-run solar PV, battery storage and EV installation company based in Poole. Since 2019, we have built our reputation on quality installations, honest advice and excellent customer service. This is an electrical installation role. *Our roofing team handles the panel installation, allowing you to focus on the electrical work, testing, commissioning and customer handover. Applicants must be qualified electricians or have substantial experience on the electrical side of solar installations.* Additional hours available * Paid travel time * Transport provided from our Poole office or agreed collection point (Van will provided for the right canidate) * Tools, PPE and branded workwear provided * Training on solar PV, battery storage and EV systems * Manufacturer support and product training * Opportunity to contribute ideas and help shape the installation team *You will work alongside our roofing and installation teams to complete the electrical side of domestic renewable energy installations. Installing and wiring solar PV electrical systems * Completing AC and DC electrical work * Carrying out inspection, testing and commissioning * Completing electrical certification and handover documentation * Altering consumer units where required * Setting up monitoring platforms * Following drawings, method statements and installation procedures * Coordinating with the roofing team so installations run smoothly *If you are a qualified electrician or experienced electrician’s mate looking to move into the renewable energy sector, we will provide training on the solar PV, battery storage and EV systems we install. We are primarily looking for someone with sound electrical knowledge, the ability to carry out neat and safe electrical work, a willingness to learn and the right attitude. Our roofing team carries out that work. Recognised electrical qualification, or demonstrable experience as an electrician’s mate * Full UK driving licence * Sound understanding of electrical installation principles * Ability to carry out neat, safe and reliable electrical work * Inspection and testing qualification * EV charger installation experience * MCS installation experience * We will consider a strong electrician’s mate with relevant hands-on experience, but the role will require them to develop toward the electrical competencies needed for the position._ You do not need to know every inverter or battery brand we use. What we cannot easily teach is electrical competence, reliability, pride in your work and the willingness to improve. *You are a strong domestic electrician wanting to move into renewables * You are looking for a long-term role with progression Your electrical qualifications * Confirmation that you hold a full UK driving licence Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an initial phone conversation, followed by an interview and, where appropriate, a paid trade assessment.
