Machine Operator / Trainee Supervisor

Cannock | From £12.71 per hour | Progression to £28,000–£30,000 We are looking for an experienced Machine Operator to join our team, with the opportunity to progress into a Shift Supervisor role. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, where you’ll play a key role in maintaining production, quality, and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Operate and monitor production machinery efficiently Ensure all products meet required quality standards Carry out basic quality checks, including first-off and last-off inspections Support shift handovers and communicate production updates clearly Assist with organising workflow, break times, and meeting daily targets Follow and promote health & safety procedures on the shop floor Report issues, escalate concerns, and support continuous improvement Help train and support other operators as you progress What we’re looking for: Previous machine operating experience (essential) Good attention to detail with a strong focus on quality Reliable, proactive, and a strong team player Confident communicator with a willingness to learn Previous supervisory role preferable What we offer: Starting pay from £12.71 per hour Clear progression into a Supervisor position Salary increasing to £28,000 – £30,000 (depending on experience) Training and development opportunities Stable role within a growing manufacturing business To apply, please submit a CV
